About me

Hi,

My name is Georgia and I am a qualified integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I am currently a compassionate partner at CK Therapy where I offer 1 to 1 counselling sessions for a variety of clients, aged 16+.

Who am I?

What is an integrative counsellor?

Being an integrative counsellor means that I adopt a variety of therapeutic techniques when working with each client. Through integrating different approaches, I am able to offer a uniquely tailored approach to each client, and factor in you and your life as a whole. Approaches I may work from include CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Person Centred Therapy.

When starting therapy, it can be difficult to know what you can talk about, and where to start. At it’s core, counselling is a space for you to discuss and explore whatever it is that is going on for you right now, or even something that may have happened in the past. Whilst this can seem daunting, I will be there to listen, be by your side and support you as we navigate the sessions together.

Below is a list of some of the issues I have supported clients with before:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Grief and Bereavement

  • Domestic Abuse

  • Sexual Abuse

  • Self Esteem

What can I support with?

  • Emotional Abuse

  • Trauma

  • Relationship Difficulties

  • Self Harm

  • Shame
